Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda directly onto the stain as it is a natural deodorizer and can help absorb the stain. In a spray bottle, mix equal parts white vinegar and water. Spray the solution onto the baking soda until it begins to fizz which will help lift the stain. Gently blot the are with a clean cloth or sponge and repeat. Once your stain is removed, rinse the area with clean water and blot it dry using a clean towel.
But how do these components work?
