It’s easy to forget the microwave when you’re cleaning the kitchen, but that’s a big no-no! It’s important to keep the microwave clean for your health and safety. You don’t want to start a fire because some bacon grease is still lingering inside from a few breakfasts ago. Check out our 6 easy steps to quickly and efficiently getting the microwave clean.

And just like that, you’re done! Pretty simple stuff, especially if you think of the microwave as just a little room. Always start at the top and work your way down. Have fun keeping your kitchen nice and clean!
I use a sponge dampened with water and dipped in a little baking soda to clean microwave. Also, don’t spray directly on the appliance, or you’ll risk cleaner getting into the vent holes.
Interesting. I will have to try this method. I usually use a magic eraser, but it does take some scrubbing and time. This sounds easy enough!
Simple but SOOO effective. We love this stuff
We have recently started our home cleaning company and came across this article. Really appreciate you taking the time to educate us. You did an amazing job at keeping it informative and descriptive. Thanks again.
This sounds simple enough, I’ll definitely try it. Thanks Mackenzie!
Great guide! I read somewhere that you can saturate a sponge with water, add a few drops of lemon essential oil, and microwave it for about two minutes. The steam coming off the sponge will help loosen up the food splatters, making it so much easier to wipe your microwave clean afterward. Haven’t tried this though.
Anyway, keep up the good work, cheers!
